Personal Information:

Lamar is an Athens native, born to Lamar and Helen Lewis on August 17th, 1948. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 1970 (B.B.A. cum laude), from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1974 (J.D.), and from Emory University School of Law in 1978 (LL.M. in Taxation). Lamar has also been a Certified Public Accountant since 1976. He and his wife, Becky, a teacher at Alps Road Elementary, were married in 1974 and have three sons, Lamar, Ben, and Joe.

Lamar is primarily responsible for the Firm's undertakings in the area of tax law, and probate, trust, and estate law. His responsibilities also include the Firm's work in the areas of real estate law, banking law, corporate law, tax law, and general business practice.
